1.SHARK ION -Best robot vacuum overall

Review: The Shark ION Robot isn’t perfect yet but it bested my Roomba in pure cleaning ability. I have the similarly priced Roomba 805, and while I found it to have friendlier beeps and gentler double rollers (both in sound and tangles) it doesn’t clean nearly as well as the Shark and I’m often picking up hairballs that the Roomba rolled up and left behind. The Shark has more of a retro video game rather than R2D2 style beeping, and its roller makes a gentle chugging sound (even in quiet mode). It’s also missing a built in handle… so you have to carry it like a turtle from the edges of its shell. GO TO TOP

Review: The RoboVac does a great job cleaning. It’s able to climb a high-pile carpet most of the time (has trouble some others depending on how the pile lays). Only issue I really see is it has trouble finding its way home if it isn’t close to the base when it finishes.

ETA: after submitting my review, Anker contacted me and offered a free additional charging base to alleviate the returning home issues. In addition, they offered an additional product of my choosing of $30 or less. This is how you do customer service and why I’m a loyal Anker/Eufy customer. GO TO TOP

3.iRobot Roomba 690 -Best Robot Vacuum 2020

Review: The roomba 690 does a great job at what it was designed to do. It is a sweeper/Vacuum and will keep your floors dust free from everyday particles which can accumulate quickly. I have a cat- I am surprised at how much cat hair gets picked up at each session by the Roomba.

It does NOT substitute for a heavy vaccuming session with a conventional sweeper vacuum. I have large floors, rugs on concrete – and live in a fairly dusty desert environment. I need to use a conventional vacuum once a month to stay ahead of the dirt. That said, the Roomba compliments the cleaning program nicely and my floors feel grit free 24/7 with the combo cleaning program. GO TO TOP

Review: This vacuum is AWESOME. I bought one for my girlfriend several weeks ago, and after only a few days of use I bought two more for Christmas presents for relatives. It is affordable and effective. It’s kind of amazing how much gunk this little guy picks up. I kinda laughed when I found out it has a hepa filter, but guess what? That hepa filter is full of dust. This thing actually picks up small particles and not just dog hair and random debris.

But dog hair? Yes! I got this because my girlfriend recently had a lifestyle change which has resulted in her being much more busy than usual, and she was lamenting that it was difficult to keep up with the floors because she has two dogs. This guy has her floors looking amazing. On the hardwood main living space, it runs for over two hours, and is surprisingly effective. She also has carpeted rooms, in which I ran it in once and it picked up an astounding amount of detritus, too. In fact, I had to pull out the roller and clean it after running it in the GUEST BEDROOM that no one goes in. She keeps the bedroom hermetically sealed because some of her relatives have allergies, so it was *supposed* to be clean. Then I let the ilife run rampant on it, and was surprised at the results. ILIFE V3s Pro Robotic Vacuum is one of the best robot vacuum now.

Review: I have had my robot friend, Simon, for a week. First impressions upon opening the box was an “Oooo Aahhh”. The directions said to let your new robot friend charge overnight before first use, but of course, I ran him around immediately to just see how he works! He worked for about ten minutes. I couldn’t figure out how to get him to his home (charging station), but it turns out, he can find his own way home just fine. I recommend that you do take a few minutes to read the directions and familiarize yourself with the remote. It took about 4 hours or so for Simon to fully charge, then I turned him loose. Let me just say, I thought my floors were clean, or, at least, pretty clean. As it turns out, they were not. They were not clean at all. Simon has picked up so much fur, dirt, dust, it’s unbelievable. My floors have literally never looked better! They are CLEAN. For real clean. I’ve always had a hard time cleaning under the bed, but now I don’t have to worry about it at all, because my robot friend takes care of it. GO TO TOP

6.iRobot Roomba i7 (7150)-Best Robot Vacuum

I robot vacuum is perfect for Pet Hair, Carpets, Hard Floors Review: So far I am extremely happy with this well designed product. Like other reviewers, I was hesitant to pay so much for my first robot vacuum. Since I was not convinced by cheaper competitors, I tried two other Roomba models (675 and 960) before deciding on the i7, mainly for its room mapping ability. After a couple of trial runs, I can now choose to quick-clean a small space or schedule all 1300 sq ft of my floor area right from the app. This cleans A LOT better than my crosswave vacuum mop and gets places under beds and furniture where Swiffer and regular vacuums can’t reach. Unlike my old vacuum, it’s great on edges, but, being round, it does miss corners. (However that’s where iRobot’s Braava mops take over!) With a little planning, the i7 works very smart. It lets you know if the dust bin is full. Battery life is not an issue, it will recharge and resume until finished. Instead of waiting to recharge and resume, I find it more efficient to schedule part of the house on different days, cutting cleaning time to a minimum. The best part is that I am no longer exhausted from vacuuming and mopping for hours on weekends! GO TO TOP

8.eufy BoostIQ RoboVac-Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner

Review:The eufy vacuum comes in at half the cost of the 4 year old Roomba that we previously used and out of the box, after a full nights charge, it worked flawlessly. The remote is easy to use and after a 2 minute look-over of the manual the thing just WORKS. Roomba would basically never make it back on the charger, it would push it all over our kitchen but never actually park itself correctly. The Eufy did it on the first attempt and has done it daily (unless it gets stuck somewhere) ever since. The Eufy is much slimmer than the Roomba so it is able to navigate some areas that were previously left untouched. The dust bin is always full or near full when we get home and check it, so it definitely is doing its job trying to keep up with our two large dogs and their fur. GO TO TOP
