This phone is blazing fast! The camera has some kind of magical software that makes every photo look amazing. I love the front facing stereo speakers. They sound nice and clear. The fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone is positioned perfectly and it works just as perfectly. Compared to my 4 year old Galaxy S5, there is nothing revolutionary here, but every single aspect is done so much better that the overall package is a pretty big leap forward. I can’t really say anything negative about it. The only thing that would make this phone perfect for me is if it had a removable battery. I did find one issue, but from what I understand it’s a bug with Wifi in the latest version of Android and not specific to this phone. When the phone first tries to connect to my Wifi router at work, it actually causes the router to reboot. After the router reboots, the wifi connection works fine with the phone after that. I don’t think it’s only Asus, but apparently this is common with Asus routers RT-AC66U and RT-N66U. Asus tries pointing their finger at the phone being the issue, and it probably is due to the bug in android, BUT my phone doesn’t kill my Netgear router at home. So clearly, Asus has some blame. No buggy wifi device, no matter how bugged it is should be able to take down an entire network that easily. So if you have one of the routers above, proceed with caution.Read Review…

I’ve had many Samsung phones and liked them. But my most recent phone was an LG V20, which I was also very happy with. The camera glass cracked after 2 years, and I decided to get another Samsung. Overall this is a great phone. I wish it was a little larger, so the same screen resolution yielded larger text and icons. I know I can adjust it, but on the V20 everything’s a bit larger at the same resolution, because the usable screen is larger. But if you have good vision at that distance it won’t bother you. One complaint I have is Bixby and the Samsung bloatware. I bought this unlocked so I wouldn’t have the carrier bloatware, but Samsung puts on plenty of their own, and along with Bixby, you can’t delete most of it, just disable it. It continues to nag me to use one of the apps. I don’t know why they want to cram this down the user’s throat. I already bought the phone. If I thought Samsung had better apps, I’d download them. But none of their built in apps are better than Google stock apps or other 3rd party. I’m not sure what the reason is for trying to push their apps on users. I guess to avoid this you have to buy a Google phone.Read Review….

I just downloaded Google drive, backed up the information, and then when I signed in with this phone, it automatically loaded up into the new phone.

I was also able to get every one of the apps I love loaded on this phone without issues. From the home screen you can just use the search bar to search for your app and it automatically loads it up for you. I wasn’t expecting much, but was blown away that the phone is so capable when compared to an iphone. I noticed that some reviews mentioned that their phones were hot when charging. If you experience this I would recommend exchanging the phone as this may be a defect. Mine stays cool to the touch and has never felt hot.read review…

This is a GREAT phone, would love to keep it if not because we have multiple lines with T-Mobile. T-Mobile representatives told us that there have been some “unknown recent changes” in the NYC area, making “some international phones” not work with T-Mobile. Tried to solve the issues with a few different T-Mobile reps, but some of them are just plain rude and nonchalant whenever they see that you are holding an international phone asking for support. When these reps see you come in with an unlocked international phone, they will tell you “international phone just doesn’t work on our network” before you start telling them what is even wrong; they don’t even try to solve or listen to the problem. *PLEASE NOTE* we have tried multiple times ourselves, both sim 1 and sim 2 slot, the phone lines and 4G/LTE data DO WORK perfectly fine on T-Mobile network if you first turn the phone on OR turn the sim cards off and on in the sim cards manager OR restart phone. BUT, it wouldn’t work all of a sudden after a few hours. It feels like the phone was banned/blocked on T-Mobile network rather than it being the phone’s issue because it had worked before! If it doesn’t work, it should have never worked! So even though the bands and frequencies of this great phone should work with T-Mobile, T-Mobile refuse to give it any support and will brush off any request to solve the issue plus never give you any reasonable explanation. It’s not the phone’s problem, it’s T-Mobile
